Who's the surprise win...Florida or Georgia?

I agree with all that and I've been saying it for months when everyone claims Tebow can't pass. Nonetheless, Tebow really hasn't proven anything as a college QB yet. He's maybe proven he can be a good short yardage ball-carrier, but that's about it. Thus, when you feel like arguing that Florida's talent is superior to UT's I don't think you can really consider Tebow ammunition for your argument.

I agree with this post. While I believe that Florida is likely more talented than UT overall (due to equal if not slightly better recruiting and far better talent development by the coaching staff), there is zero basis at this point for claiming that Tebow is better than Ainge. Ainge was statistically one of the better quarterbacks in the nation last year. Tebow was a glorified fullback under center.

Lawgator, you can argue that Tebow is the most "talented" QB in history if it makes you feel good, but talent doesn't mean squat if it doesn't translate into production. Ainge has proved that he can produce as an elite QB in the SEC. Tebow has shown that he can run for a few first downs.

you know what law...im gonna go ahead and say it. Florida will LOSE to the Vols and Eric Ainge will throw for more than 300 yards that day. don't cry when it happens, just slip back into the depression that is Florida football.

Are We goin to meet up for the Fla game in Gainesville?

Why would I want to go to that game if Ainge is going to throw for over 300 yards against us? Seems like a waste of time to me, since we Gators are obviously not going to be competitive this year.

Not to pee on anyone's campfire...but Peyton tore up the record books, and never got the crystal football. Tee Martin was a good, but not great, quarterback, and he's wearing a NC ring.

Just goes to show.....

College football remains a "team" game.

Ask Reggie Bush. Or Troy Smith. Or Vinnie Testaverde.

There are others.

Go Vols.

Its a team game and a little luck thrown in for good measure never hurt anyone ie. Arkansas QB puts football on ground for UT player to pick up......Hello National Championship Game.
