I'm sure that the number of cars towed @ tonight's game set a record. I picked my car beside the carnival and they said they towed quite a few hundred cars. BTW an usher was one of them, who got towed. When he got there, he had to go to the West end to pick it up. He went to the wrong lot.

Surely to goodness somebody on here got towed.

My sister and her family got towed from campus. My wife and I had to take them to the lot off of Rutledge Pike at midnight.

Good times...

I was pre-gaming on the 16th Ave./Grand Ave. block. At about 5:30 they started towing down 16th and if I had to guess...it had to be anywhere between 15 and 30 cars. Absolutely ridiculous. I was towed once three seasons ago and I learned my lesson. Paying 20 to park is better than paying 100 to get you car back

I saw this crazy wreck happen in front of me. I park in the apartment complex right off the interstate on the Seventeenth st. exit. We got out of car and started toward the stadium and WHAM this chick nails this car about 10 ft from where we stood. Her car went airborne for a sec and then she stopped. Airbag deployed and everything. She was hauling balls too. Crazy.

I have never had my car towed, but one Saturday during the off season (football) I parked in the parking lot behind Hound Dogs, Not a soul in site or in the parking lot. I ran in picked a few things, 10 mins max. Came out and had a tire boot on my truck. Man I was pissed. What a racket. 75 dollars later I was headed back to NC with a chip on my shoulder. :banghead2:

Are some of y'all saying that if you park on the street in Fort Sanders -- even where there are no No Parking signs -- you're subject to being towed?
I usually drive through the Fort looking for street parking, and after not finding any, head downtown where I always easily find a place.

was it a black Maxima (w/ tinted windows) that was involved?
It was that cars fault. It hit a white car. Craziness insued. All the guys selling tickets were freaking out.

I think they tried to buy the girls tickets who wrecked. It was a wierd scene.

Lets build a football stadium with the capacity of 109,000 people and have 400 parking places kind of like they did at Bristol Motor Speedway.......towing and tickets.......city has to get the revenue from somewhere

Bristol has great parking. it's the traffic you have to wait in that's bad.

and season ticket holders who think they have a God given right to take up two parking spaces just so they can tailgate before the game.
