icaw2k, I think that man or woman who do the same amount and quality of work in the same profession for the same employer should be paid equal $.

Men's and women's athletics payments should be factored on revenue as well as tenure and success. Payment within those structures should be fair and equal with differences in pay factored for the revenue differences. While similar jobs, they are not exactly similar based on exposure and demand. A University should pay both men's and women's coaches in line with their standing within each particular sport.

Who would you say are the five best active Womens BBall coaches right now? My next question, why not hire the youngest of that group? Heck overpay them but get them! Then hire the 2 best recruiting assistant coaches in the country, and the best fundamentals assistant and pay them too.. DO IT NOW

I agree with everything you have said. Probably go with Stanley and pay her the big bucks. I also think you were right on about new assistant coaches that can recruit and teach basketball skills.

I wish it would happen but not sure UT will make a move like that. I do know we just have to do something.

If nothing gets done I guess we go down with the ship or find another team to follow.

We have always been Lady Vol fans but it is now hard to watch our favorite team!! It is certainly no fun to watch. May have to go on blood pressure medicine!!

Geno Auriemma
Muffat McGraw
Kim Mulkey-
Dawn Staley
Tara Vanderveer

All of those coaches make between $1 Million - $1.5 Million per year.

All of those coaches are legends where they are at. Why would any of those coaches leave where they are at to coach in the footsteps of Pat Summitt?

All of you agents and expert basketball coaches better lower your expectations as to who could possibly be hired to coach the Lady Vols if Holly is fired.
