Agreed, Stephens is in the rest of the season barring injury or meltdown.

A quarterback that wins the job or receives it.

Plus wins the game is going to be the starting QB until he loses it.

WILL START IN ATHENS!:clapping:

Crompton, bless his heart, tripped over his own feet after a pre-game snap. I know I'm not the only one who saw it.

Stephens starts. No question.

stephens, he made good reads and some great throws. i was impressed with his deep throws

Stephens looks like a solid D-1 q-back.........crompton looks like a D-2 or D-3, NAIA, or JC........he can't perform under pressure, it's his total CRIPTONITE.......it's STEPHENS or bust, friends.......

After watching the game it seems Stephens should start. At least he can check down to a second and third receiver if necessary. I think it would have been better if the line held their blocks a second longer a lot. I think once his pocket presence gets better he will be real good. He just seemed a little late at times in stepping into the pocket when it was forming. Overall with more game experience his play only goes up

Despite playing in just two games, Nick Stephens has three of UT's four longest pass plays this season. And it took Mike Hamilton's nudging to play him. Unfreakin'believable. Would we be 4-1 had Stephens started the season or at least inserted in the game at UCLA and Auburn? Probably.

Why the hell would Crompton start. From what I saw tonight, I'd say that they need to replace the #8 jerseys in the Tenn. Traditions store with #17 jerseys. Seriously.
