Well, it looks like the coaching carousel is over. Here's how it ended:

Tennessee - Jeremy Pruitt
Florida - Dan Mullen
Ole Miss - Matt Luke
Mississippi St. - Joe Moorhead
Texas A&M - Jimbo Fisher
Arkansas - Chad Morris

How do you rank our hire?

Florida. They got our top target we ended up with what was maybe our tenth choice. I'd say we finished last. Has anyone ever offered Bama Gimp a head coaching gig anywhere ever? My Georgia friends think it's hilarious. They say he's an absolute cancer.

I would say A&M but they also paid the most by a large margin.. This is stupid money

Mullen is a heck of a get. I feel like A&M would rather pay 6 mil a year for Mullen than 7.5 for Fisher.

Then again they’re insane so what the heck do I know.

Pretty hard to argue anyone other than A&M, who hired a National Championship coach, when no one else did.

However, I'm not sure Fisher can beat Alabama regularly (or for at least as long as Saban is there)

I know that there’s some question now about who has the best conference and I still say sec but I think in a few years the analysts will think the sec is unanimously again the best conference.i think the sec had some solid hires this go around

I'm thrilled with Tennessee's hire..
But A&M won the sh*t out of this coaching search. Congrats to them.

Whoever picked up Schiano after they tried to pawn him off on us since he's so great??????

I'll definitely take our coach over the coaches at Miss, Miss State, and Arky. Your way over stating this. I don't believe Mullin ever was given a serious look. And, I'm as excited about Pruitt as any other realistic candidate we approached (whether we went through 10 others first or not. Time to get new 'buddys'.

Ignore is coming soon to this poster. Give it a break. I haven't heard anyone say Pruitt was a bad hire from Georgia.

This is the stuff that makes my head want to explode. Do you think Nick Saban himself was coming to coach us? We did great.

As far as $$$ spent, aTm and the Gutters, of course. BUT, I think we got the best bang for the buck, and now the administration is about to spend the most UT has ever spent on coordinator and assistant salaries... which reportedly will be among the highest in college football. If this is true, we could very well have the best coaching situation going forward. Our Vols could make the SECE very interesting... and soon.
