My order of least confident victories:
Georgia
Alabama
aTm
Florida
Feel good about the rest as long as we show up ready to play.
We have no business overlooking the road games in Athens and College Station. Those will be difficult games. Winnable, absolutely, but definitely lose able too.
Tennessee clearly has the most talent of any teams in the sEC east and the best QB---the winner of the UT-Ga game decides the division title. Tenn should beat fla easily this year.
Totally agree. I see us handling Florida, but Georgia will be very tough at their place. As I pointed out above, I think that is our toughest game of the season. And I'm not taking anything away from Alabama in saying that.
We always play Georgia well, even when we're at a decided talent disadvantage. See 2013 and 2014. Otoh, we pretty much always find a way to lose to Florida no matter what. Jmo, but I like our chances vs Georgia with a new staff and likely a freshman QB much more than vs Florida in their second year with McElwain.
I say we lose to Alabama & Florida again but we are the S.E.C. East rep. in Championship game. Florida will lose three S.E.C. games this season but not to us.
As long as it's not two losses UGA and UF 10 and 2 with one loss to a west team I think we're gonna be in ATLANTA
We will beat the Gators like a rented mule in Knoxville. Toughest game besides Tide is Georgia on the road. Don't see us coming out of Athens with a W. So we better be hoping Ole Miss, Auburn and the Gators get them or with our 2 losses being to the Dawgs and Bama, Georgia has the tie breaker and goes to Atlanta. That's how I see it playing out. Unless the Dawgs lose all three of those games they win the East. But in a perfect world we take the Tide out and probably play Ole Miss for the title unless they are on probation by then.![]()
Worst 4 teams in the SEC are in the East, down year,
so it should be easier than usual.
#14 Vandy
#13 South Carolina
#12 Kentucky
#11 Missouri
AND the NEXT worst is
#10 TAMU
SURPRISE, they are ALL on our schedule this year. Add All that up, we're talking 8 wins out of the gate. so getting a couple of surprises to get to 10 wins is very reasonable.
