I will watch it by myself, just like always. Not many people can stand to be around me during a game! lol

I use to be the same way,no one wanted to be near me come game time:crazy:.
I've calmed down a bit since those days.

This will be my first year not being a student... so I'm planning on watching the games with my family. Going to the game this Saturday with a sorority sister though.

I normally watch with my dad. If we don't get together to watch the game we will talk on the phone several times. That will change this year, dad passed away in July of Liver Cancer. Things just don't seem the same anymore. I'm excited that it's finally Football Time in Tennessee but the memories will be a little tough this year.

I know how you feel dbl, my dad passed away earlier this year as well. We live in VA and while he was still alive we watched every game we could on TV and loved it all. Those memories won't ever leave me while I'm rooting from the couch and he is rooting on the Vols from Heaven.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and prayers. I never answered my own question...I will be watching with my wife and answering questions like who has the ball, what does that mean and what happened. You got to love them.

I am with you also dblutfan, I understand completly, I lost my mom in Jan and now my dad passed in July. We all used to go to the games together. I am looking forward to the season starting because I am now alone in the house and need to get out and socialize. I had been taking care of my parents 24/7 and had not been working so now I need to also find a job.
