As time passes the more I think USC won't go undefeated. They have 4 tough road games against Nebraska, ND, Oregon, and Cal. I think by far they're the best team in the country, but they might slip.

My feeling right now is that West Virginia plays Texas in the National Championship.

Weren't they supposed to be in the title game last year?

Yeah, but they're 10 deep at runningback now, and they have the best and quickest D in the country. They would have to lose 2 times to not make it and they aren't going to lost 2 games.

10 deep at running back is useless. They MIGHT have the best D in the nation, but I'm not buying it today. They have talent and Carroll says it's his best crew every (but that helps him cement his preseason #1, which he keeps by default unless he loses). They should not have lost twice last year, but did. I know the conference is pathetic and they shouldn't lose, but it happens. Their OOC schedule should help them. It's being hyped by all the talking heads, but is pathetic. Nebraska continues to be overrated, ND can't play D to save their lives.

USC, if you don't have them in the title game, you're crazy

Well, they're sure as heck a long way from a shoe-in. Don't forget only one team has ever gone wire-to-wire as #1 (in the history of the AP)...over fifty seasons, I think, and there's been a lot of big-hype teams in there over the years. I won't be shocked to see the Trojies drop one they're not supposed to drop. Or at least, I'm hopin'. Actually, it'd be nice if we embarrass the Golden Bears again on their own dirt & they knock off USC.
