Since 2014 the only coaches to win the SEC are Nick Saban, Kirby Smart and Ed Orgeron. The SEC has been ridiculously top heavy in the last decade with Bama and Georgia winning every SEC title since 2014 sans LSU in 2019.

I think it’s losing its luster rapidly. Like winning the SEC basketball or baseball tournament. No one really remembers or cares.

I had the same thoughts. I voted Texas. My first reason reasons is I think Lane will need one season to get LSU where he wants them. Second is the QB status. I don't think it makes any difference how mane or who Lane brings in. Texas has a man who knows his system and players better than the LSU QB will. Here again, it may come down to schedule.

Yeah, apparently Texas has like a 47 billion dollar endowment. The next highest SEC school is A&M with 20 billion. As long as things remain as they are, in the long run they will dominate the conference.

Elko was incredibly close this year and that Texas A&M team isn't losing much from last year.
I can see them winning the SEC title next year.

As well as I think Kiffin is going to get LSU rolling, I don't see it happening for a couple of years.
Sark needs to get Manning an O Line and a Defense so he's not running for his life every game.
