And get it’s top coach. And will the second to the dance get the consolation prize? It’s an interesting time if you are a fan of either of these two schools.

At this point, probably North Korea.

Jk, jk it's only been a little over a week, but feels like an eternity. If we do not do something after Vandy game, I'd say Florida beats us to it.

I thought the fact that UF had fired their coach first made them a lock for first pick of any coach they wanted? So they don't have dibs on Kelly after all? Say it ain't so! My faith in the first to fire is the first to hire mantra is shaken to the core.

Good chance NEITHER gets it’s “top coach”.

The way it's looking from rumors and reports scattered about, Florida's love for Chip Kelly may be unrequited.

As for whom AD Currie is perusing, who really knows.

Whether we're the first school to hire its top coach doesn't matter to me.

Getting a coach in here who who can build us into a team that is feared nationwide, does.

I want Florida to go first. Then 30 minutes later we announce Gruden. Florida becomes a distant thought.

I get your point, but the pressure at UT is the same as Florida.

I'm just saying, there's no reason why Kelly shouldn't have been signed, sealed and delivered last week. I know I'd be wary of taking that gig.

Florida strikes first and even gets the better coach. We will have to start #googlegate to find out who our coach is.

Scott Stricklin? Are we talking about the same guy?

You must also believe Gruden is coming if you believe this.

I was talking about Jeremy Foley.

As an AD, how many SEC Football Championships has Scott Stricklin won?

The thing that keeps sticking in my mind is that it doesn't seem like UCLA would have rushed dropping that bombshell with Mora if they didn't feel pretty solid about Kelly.
