Ok. We need to start a petition to get rid of Kenny "I'm a traitor and a closet homosexual" Chesney's song after the Grateful Dead one. Hasn't anyone seen the videos of him doing the gator chomp with Tebow??

Kenny is always a Vol but I think he is friends with some of the Gators too.. no big deal he is from TENNESSEE and IS a VOL. It's in his blood. If you like Tennessee Jed you should try listening to more Grateful Dead tunes. I really miss those days and shows. Nice avatar as well simpleorange. Seen Steely Dan several times as well. Great music!

At the very least he's a sell out. Not too mention his music is pop crap for 15 year old girls.

For music with a horn section and a band that can play any kind of music, it is hard to beat Little Feat. The song "Those feat'll steer ya wrong sometime", Spanish Moon, Let it Roll, Dixie Chicken, listen to them sometime and they will show you the range of this band.

That's awesome. Being the tender age of 21 I haven't had too much of a chance to see them. I missed them a few years ago in Nashville and again in August in ATL. Not missing them next time.

Ah yes...that too. Love Little Feat as well. Saw them in Charleston some years ago. Don't forget The Band and The Last Waltz. Want something different? Find Fela Kuti and hang on to your seats. :) Has over 40 CD's out there but unknown by so many. The Dead is one of my all time favorite bands and shows though. There is nothing like it in the world, though Phish and String Cheese Incedent come close.

They use to be more of a studio band but have been touring a lot since the 90's it seems. To really appreciate some bands and their music you have to see the show. Take the time to go see some shows my friend. You won't regret it. The music is changing so much now and bands/people are dying off from the good ole days.

As long as you are compiling a tailgate mix; might I recommend:

"Volunteers" by Jefferson Airplane

"Tennessee" by Arrested Development (sans Jason Bateman)

"Ballad of Davie Crockett" by Tennessee Ernie Ford

"Jack Daniels (Old No. 7)" by Jerry Lee Lewis

"Thank God for Jack Daniels" by Bite Your Tongue

"Rocky top" - The Osbourne Brothers

"Rocky Top" - Phish

"Rocky Top" - UncleF-er

"Rocky Top" - Charlie Daniels Band

"Rocky Top" - The POTSMB

"Orange Crush" - R.E.M. (particularly apropot for tomorrow's opponent)

"Orange Wedge" - The Chemical Brothers

PM me and dish me off a copy of your playlist when you get done!

Is there a video clip of that specific scene on the jumbotron?

Also, I know it's tennessee jed ad the beginning and the end of the clip, but what's the song played during the majority, during the middle of the video

If you threw in Sweet Home Alabama, it would offer an opportunity for a good ole fashioned "f you Alabama"!
