Who is this year's Arkansas?

This is your guys perception and if FLA or GA or even LSU had done it in 04' I am confident you would say it was a banner year for the SEC. That guy Tubbs knows what he is doing, sure Spurrier has more flash and personality but you say he is this great X and O guy but since leaving the recruiting heaven of FLA what has he done anywhere? Nothing he sucks--and he is on his way out. Richt is a good coach I agree but he has yet to go undefeated when he does let me know. You know he coached in that same weak 04' season. Come on admit it Tubbs is a great coach I will not tell anyone.

What has given you that illation?

He also said if they did not change their admission process he was on his way out. There team is not improving and has no signs of improving. He is treading water. He is too competitive for that and will quit either mid-season or at year's end. The whole admissions conflict was to make him seem justified in quitting.

You've lost all credibility.

Maybe but I can get it back tomorrow. I know you guys can't see the sailboat it is ok. Everyone has bought into this SC making gradual improvements every year under Spurrier. Reality is they took a step back last year and again this year. SC just can't pull those type of recruits and anyone who wants to go into that area is way to laid back to be competitive like Spurrier wants. Spurrier is a very smart guy he has already put the pieces together and is on his way out. I would not be surprised if he is already talking with other schools or ESPN.

CSS quitting at midseason will occur at the same time I win the Georgia Lottery.

I think that is a bit extreme....I think he is wrong, but he is piecing together a piece of evidence (Spurrier's statement about the administration) and drawing a conclusion (scapegoat). He is wrong.....Spurrier's statements were just that....statements against the administration, which is desparate to keep him. Still, baccah isn't incredible, just wrong...

Not too shabby at all. However, Borges did a pretty bad job last year, when it looked like he had all the tools at the end of the 2005 season. I think it's a stretch to say they are better than Urban and his staff, or Saban and his. Both those guys have good coordinators (or are good coordinators) and also have national championships.

Auburn did look bad on offense, but remember they only had one receiver worth a damn, their qb was finally exposed as noodle-armed, and Irons was never healthy. I think it was more of Borges didnt have much to work with.

Don't forget Auburn laid wood to SC in 2005 and beat UF by 2 TDs last year. I don't like Auburn, but heads up he has the wins. Not to mention the fact he has and will continue for a few seasons to own his arch rival.

The surprise for Alabama will be if their defense can stop the run. Don't be shocked when Alabama doesn't pick up their first SEC win until October.
South Carolina and Alabama inthe SEC are good picks as "surprise" teams.

KY would be the ultimate sleeper though.

Mid tier bowl games are a worthless indicator. Michigan might have been hyped to try and prove the pollsters wrong, but were most likely going through the motions because they missed out on the title game. Arkansas, in the midst of a media firestorm, couldn't have cared less about UW game.

Regardless, USC was still >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Michigan

Believe me, they cared. The "media firestorm" did not start until after the Jan. 1st bowl game. It became public a week later (around Jan 8th) and has not stopped. I am so tired of them talking about it.

South carolina is not going to have enough player to play if they keep getting in trouble. I think Kentucky or Vanderbilt will very good
