Who is this Brian Kelly guy at Cincy?

You think so? Wouldn't MSU immediately offer an extension/raise if they realize they are in a bidding war with another school?

UT has some big pocket boosters, but not sure if Hamilton will want to get into that kind of battle. Cincy/Kelly would offer the path of least resistance.

He might not want to, but he has to know we have deeper pockets than State.

He'll be one of the leading candidates for the UT job this year, but I'd rather have Jon Gruden.

SI.com - Writers - Cory McCartney: Cincy's making some noise with new coach, offense - Friday October 5, 2007 4:19PM

After the International Bowl victory over Western Michigan, Kelly scrapped Dantonio's power running attack and installed a no-huddle spread offense. Despite not having players recruited for the new scheme, Cincinnati is currently sixth in the country in scoring offense (46.4 points per game), 31st in rushing (193 yards per game), 33rd in passing (260 ypg) and 22nd in total offense (453 ypg).

Kelly was on a local Sports Call-In Show last night and I would love this guy for UT. He was all about staying on track but preparing for good things. He brought up next year's Oklahoma game that is in Cincy and if Fulmer sticks around another year then that game is one MH should TiVo if faced with making a coaching decision say Fulmer is here for 1 more then retires and/or is fired.

Big wins over USF and UConn in the past 2 weeks.

This guy is going to be coaching at an elite program next season...

You just said big win over UCONN. Did you say that with a straight face. Or did you think this was a basketball thread.

If he's there that long. He's definitely my pick for coach at UT.

he gets my vote over BD now. 560 wmsr had a guy on and he thinks he will be the coach.

also did any1 notice what his player did when he ran into the stands. if he coaches these young men up like that then he gets my vote.
