You could certainly argue that Spurrier is past his prime, but he deserves a ton of credit for what he did at Florida. Why Spurrier so high? He was great at Florida with great players. They have the instate high school talent, they should be great. He has bombed after that. He was a joke with the Skins and hasn't been any better with The Cocks. Take a look at their offense with Spurrier, not exactly "offensive genius" material. Lives off reputation.

Anyone who voted for the following is an idiot... IMO.
Phillip Fulmer (Tennessee)
Urban Meyer (Florida)
Mark Richt (Georgia)
Steve Spurrier (South Carolina)
Les Miles (LSU)
Nick Saban (Alabama)
I'm not happy with Fulmer, and don't want him to be here next year, BUT he is definitely not the worst coach in the SEC.
Also, part of being the HC of a program is recruiting, and all these guys (including Fulmer) put together pretty solid recruiting classes on a fairly consistent basis.
GO VOLS! BEAT BAMA!
Then its a good thing the question was not "who is the worst recruiter in the SEC." So your assertion is that coaching is nothing more than recruiting? Thats ridiculous...
