Its hard to say. Tubberville and Phil both look bad right now. I guess an arguemnet could be made for croom as well. He was bested by fulmer. If you get outcoached by fulmer it cant be good.

I am going to go..
1. Saban- Hes one of the best in the country
2. Meyer- See above
3. Richt- Some say he has not done alot but has done a good job
4. Spurrier- I think the game has kinda passed him by or he just doesnt enjoy it like he once did. Still a good coach.
5. Johnson- Has done alot with less this year. I dont think he will be back.
6. Tuberville- Done a good job at AU
7. Fulmer- Well..........
8. Miles- I know he won a NC but I really dont think the guy is a good coach, he had a ton of talent.
9. Nutt- Good for Ole Miss
10. Brooks- Hes done good for KY. Not great but good
11. Croom- Good for State, its just hard to win on a consistant level in Starkville
12. Petrino- Hes not very good, was blessed with a ton of talent at Loserville along with some not so good competition. I say he is gone in 4 or 5 years. Either fired or jumps for something that is better.

Nutt and Les Miles' rankings are ridiclious. Les Miles is in my book a top 3 maybe 2 coach in the SEC. Actually, he is my #2 behind Saban.

I like your top 3 but i would have Miles at the number 4and a toss up between Spurrier and Tuberville as my 5th. I don't see Bobby Johnson as a top 5 SEC coach. At least not yet. He continues to make the same mistakes when the game is on the line.

I think Petrino is a lil' better than you all give him credit for.

Not sure, But Fulmer is in the bottom third ! We deserve MUCH BETTER! I think Gary Patterson would do great at UT.

Everyone thinks Fulmer is one of the few who can recruit great out of state talent, BS. Our tradition, facilities, etc.... help recruit a lot of the talent we get! Did you know? Fulmer was 0-9 versus Florida in the last recruiting class. He was 2-15 versus Bama. And, Fulmer let our best two in state prospects land in Bama. Fulmer is washed up in all aspects of coaching!!!!!!!

Why Spurrier so high? He was great at Florida with great players. They have the instate high school talent, they should be great. He has bombed after that. He was a joke with the Skins and hasn't been any better with The Cocks. Take a look at their offense with Spurrier, not exactly "offensive genius" material. Lives off reputation.

toss up petrino or croom, tuberville and fulmer not far behind.

croom is not that great maybe thats why coaches get fired when they lose to him. croom lost to fulmer but at least he knows how to beat bama. I guess that has to mean something.

Spurrier. He's doing no better than Holtz did. Spurrier's name is more recognizable so they might tolerate him more, but I think that he is the worst coach in the SEC by far.

I actually think Petrino has a very good offensive mind. Now if we're voting character, somewhere below Satan, at least Satan knows he's evil. I voted Nutt worst, seems to be a all or nothing coach, he seems to be able to beat anybody, but can lose to anyone.

I think it's a tie between Sly Croom and Bobby Petrino.
I am an ALABAMA fan but to say that Fulmer or Tuberville are bad coaches is far fetched.
I think they have both done great jobs and represented their schools well over the years.
As much as I hate to admit this we have had ONLY ONE coach represent our school with class and he couldn't win a game to save his life. SAD but TRUE.
