:dunno:I know this has been talked about before but I have been getting some sh** at work on who the real UT is? We have some Tennessee fans at work but alot of them are Kentucky, LSU, Alabama, or Florida fans. I always tell them to go back to the state in which they lived or go move to the state of which team they like the most.Every time there is a Tennessee game on everyone roots against us. Pisses me off!!! I will be moving to Texas this month(Due to a promotion) and I know I will get some crap about who the real UT is. I always remind my friends that Tennessee was a University before they were a state. Also that we gave them 2 Tennessee heroes who in turn helped them not only to become a country but helped make them a state as well( Davy Crockett and Sam Houston.)Any way can any body give me a break down of who has won the most championships etc...... Compare and Contrast type thing? Also I remember reading something somewhere about the Univ. of Texas stealing our Trademark and the Univ. of Tennessee sued them and was awarded a couple million. Anybody kniow where I can find it? SO WHO REALLY IS THE REAL UT?????

Where are you moving to in Texas??

And you're going to need to dig up some good facts, atleast where I'm from there is no way of convincing them that WE ARE UT

I would start at the "Alamo" :-0. More Tennesseans died in the war to save texas than Texan's !!!

Texas is one of the ugliest, unfriendliest states that i have ever lived in. that includes Wyoming. screw them.

If it weren't for TENNESSEE then the Longhorns would be the mascot for the University of Mexico............hell even Mack Brown is from Tennessee.

Well, you could always go with the, University of Tennessee has been a school longer than the State of Texas has been a state.

this should help :)

A Texas football player was almost killed yesterday in a tragic horse back riding accident. He fell from the horse and was nearly trampled to death. Luckily, the manager of the Wal-Mart came out and unplugged the horse.

Without Tennessee they would be Universidad de Texas.

Thats why we get instate tuition to their schools.

Austin is a truly beautiful city in Texas. Other than that Texas sucks.

UT-founded 1794

TU-founded 1836

UT's colors-orange and white

TU's colors-a UT jersey thrown in the oven and baked at 365 for an hour

UT's logo-Currently the Power T, which has been ripped off as a secondary logo by TU

TU's logo-interlocking UT which was given to them after years of whining by TU, only to see them try and steal our newer logo as well.

And that isn't including the fact that our volunteers saved their ass.

Need I go on?

I say we invade and take their territory for the great state of Tennessee.
