Does anyone know who is over Davenport and Currie?? I would love their email, twitter, or whatever their contact information is. I dont want to be an azz, I simply want them to know that they need to FIRE both of them IMMEDIATELY!!!! They need to go.......NOW.

In no particular order it is Currie, Davenport, Hyams and Ainge. Still have several hours to add to that list..

search: University of Tennessee Board of Trustees. You will get names, photos and home county.

If they start getting a lot of contacts about this, they will look for answers quickly.

don't bash Davenport yet.
She may very well be doing us a solid right night now. She could clear her name by opening up the checkbook, forcing a good hire, and cutting ties with Currie and Haslam. she could end up losing like the savior, if she plays her cards right.
Other boosters have greater wealth than Haslam that should could lean on, as well as youth. And if Haslam criminal heat goes any hotter she may want so distance there anyway.

Give her rope. She can be the Vol knight or she can hang herself.

That would be great but it’s hard for me to see anything good coming from all this right now. In other words, I’ll have to see it to believe it.

They’ve basically taken our beloved football program and **** all over it. They have single handedly killed UT football. I’m so numb it’s depressing

Fox Sports Knoxville just had a good point.......The fact that there were never any leaks before the past 3 days and now we have a ton of leaks, coupled with the fact that Currie was in the Bahamas all relaxed by the pool says he never did a proper search to begin with. Schiano was always his guy. And now he's scrambling and way behind the 8-ball......if thats the way I worked at my job I'd be handing out resumes somewhere while dipping into my savings.

You can call David Golden's office (UT President's Executive Assistant). Have what you want to say prepared and in order. Simply tell them:

1) You are tired of John Currie's bungling of the search for a new head football coach.
2) He did not properly vet Greg Schiano for the position as he has said, otherwise he would have known that players and coaches on both the NFL and college levels have reported that Schiano is very difficult to work with due to his abrasive nature, and that he is abusive to players.
3) You feel that John Currie has lost the confidence of the fan base long ago and feat that he has reached the point where there is no hope of that relationship being repaired.
4) You feel that John Currie does not listen to the fan base, but only certain big money boosters. He has forgotten that it is the everyday fans who fill Neyland on Saturdays, buy the concessions, and purchase the UT licensed merchandise, making UT football revenue the # 2 college football revenue program in the country.
4) Therefore, you feel that John Currie needs to be asked to resign as Athletic Director, effective immediately, and allow Philip Fulmer and Peyton Manning to complete the search for the new football coach, with Philip Fulmer fulfilling the duties as Acting Athletic Director until a new Athletic Director is hired.
5) Also, Beverly Davenport needs to be replaced as Chancellor due to the fact that she hired John Curry, she has received many complaints regarding his incompetence, yet she refuses to take corrective action. It has been stated by many sources that she does what a certain big money booster wants done regarding the athletics program whether it it is in the best interest of the program or not.

This is essentially what I told Mr. Golden's Secretary yesterday, and she told me that they are taking notes of all calls, and that Mr. Golden, the UT President, and the Board are taking these calls very seriously. She asked for my name and phone number and thanked me for being so nice over the phone. She also told me that that they have received tons of calls are expecting many more.


Phone # 865-974-2241 They honestly want us to call and tell them what our problem is with the Athletic Department, the Greg Schiano fiasco, Chancellor, etc... She said, "We know there are problems, but we cannot begin to fix the them if no one tells us what the root issues are."

he's the Governor of Tennessee

1. Governor appoints the BOT's
2. BOT's hire the president
3. President hires the chancellor
4 Chancellor hires AD
5, AD hires coaches

This is how the chain of command is currently set up, and it has been a total disaster ever since changing from the original structure.

1. Things need to change from the top down. In order for that to happen, we must first elect a Governor willing to shake up the BOT's, and remove it's current members
who are controlled 100% by Jimmy Haslam, starting with the president.

2. The new President whoever that is must resume responsibility for all things at UT, like it used to be, including overseeing the AD.

3. Whoever the chancellor is (whether Davenport or whoever) has to be removed from anything to do with athletics. Presiding only over academics.

Once these three actions are taken, you will see Tennessee football, (all sports return to prominence), enrollment increase and the national media respect us again.

If this does not happen, and happen soon, TN as we knew it, will die forever. Doubt it? Watch and see with your on eyes, it's happening right now.
