Who will it be on this years squad?

We need a Al Wilson type leader that will rally these kids when they need a fire lit under their backsides.

Is there anyone stepping up yet to take that whip yet?

On D I think it will be Malik Jackson. Its his Sr. year and seeing how physical he is only makes sense to me. Poole will be on offense. He has always been vocal, ask Kiff

Got a good friend who played the last year at UT, he mentioned Corey Miller being quite vocal at practice/weight room

Offense - Poole and Dallas Thomas due to seniority, Bray due to position.
Defense - Malik and Austin Johnson

Malik makes sense. I don't know anything about how vocal Austin Johnson is. I fear he may be getting credit for being a "glue guy." I.e. white.

He was supposedly Nick Reveiz's "understudy" - watching film with him, etc. He's said to be another "student of the game". Propst as well.

We'll see if this translates into on-the-field leadership.

We have been asking this same question since Al left and we honestly have yet to have one...Yes it is needed and bad, but I just do not see one yet IMO.
