So it’s all settled in- the loss and disappointment. We all go back to work this coming week and have our prepared reactions to annoying coworkers who will act innocent as they ask with a sheepish, mischievous, and disrespectful grin.

But I wonder who is Jeremy Pruitt? What’s his personality? Why was he so lackadaisical? What’s his main drive? NFL? Stay at Tennessee? Move to what he believes a better program? Why wasn’t he fired up?

Lots of questions I know but does anyone here possibly know him or know someone who knows him? How do they describe him?

He’s a Bammer who would go back to the state of Alabama in a heart beat.

Didn’t seem to lift a finger or even show emotion after yesterday’s embarrassing loss to a Sun Belt team.

I’d be more than glad to help him pack his bags right now.

This is so stupid.

Pruitt is an excellent football coach. He’s said repeatedly that UT has extremely low talent to compete in the SEC. This is not 1998. It’s twenty years of mediocrity that someone has to clean up.

I think he has a good understanding of reality. UT isn’t very good.

He’s the Head Coach of the Laughing Stock in College Football.

And WE are “Fans” of that Laughing Stock...

BTW...Tennessee AND WE have held those tiltles since 2001...

News flash; GSU isn't in the SEC.

Maybe he's been saying all that to provide excuses for his head coaching deficiencies. We have way too much talent for a 2-10 Sun Belt team to whip our ass..

We’re not talking about competing in the SEC. we’re talking about not getting pushed around by a sunbelt team who went 2-10 last year. A program that didn’t exist a decade ago, made the university of Tennessee quit, in Neyland.

Tennessee has better talent than Georgia State and Vanderbilt. Easily. And it’s not even close.

My wife is a die hard gators fan. She has had to temper me since Saturday. I’m not a fair the coach guy. Damn we have some kind of serious problem here though. Coaching?? Talent?? I dunno. We don’t know. What I do know is we have to get it fixed. My die hard gator fan wife feels sorry for all of us. That’s simply unacceptable!!

So Tennessee has enough talent to beat Auburn, in Jordan-Hare last season, but not enough to beat lowly GA St?

I think UT should have beat Ga State, yes. But talent wise ... no. We don’t have the players Bama, UGA or Fla have.
