We all know it isn't pretty, but someone will be the best even if its only making it as a career backup. I'm leaning towards Trevor Daniel because he seems like the safest pick and the most obvious. He's the only one when stacked against his competition across the nation whos truly elite. But I actually think Kmac might be the one. I feel like several factors really hurt him (his own effort being one of them but that is what it is).

1. Not getting to play his senior year and having to sit then showing up 40 pounds overweight.
2. Lack of a real S&C program early in his UT career due to Butch dropping the ball.
3. Tons of defensive injuries around him limiting his ability to try and make plays and instead forcing him to just try to maintain a gap and protect the patchwork line-backing core behind him and also being injured himself.
4. Just being on a bad defense overall with several different staffs.

All had to add up to a tough experience for him and others on the team. With his seemingly newfound attitude and physical progressions and scouts also thinking he could play guard at the next level i think he will have the longest and most "Successful" career.

1. KMAC
2. Daniel
3. Kelly
4. Gaulden (Could shoot to the top in the right system same as Kelly)
5. Berry
6. Wolfe

Okay, 90 beat me to it but the first two replies made the same poster reference. Somewhere D4H is reading this and his pants are tightening.

Gaulden for sure. Dude will be a steal wherever he goes. Hardest hitting CB I think I’ve ever seen.

The easy pick is Trevor Daniel, but given the way Butch underutilized and underdeveloped talent, wouldn't shock me if KM turns becomes a starter.

I believe Kelly is the toughest and surprises folks. A good, hard fighting, durable back in the NFL is gold. Daniel probably be there longer just because of the less severe physical pounding a punter gets.

Agree with K Mac and Daniel.

Most RBs aren't long for the league due to punishment they take.

Gaulden is a wild card. Probably the best upside but DBs face a lot of competition and take punishment.

Gaulden and Daniel are the best IMO. Kelly could make some waves. But I voted KMac. Because it's the Vol way. Come in underachieve, then get your feet under you elsewhere and ball out like a superstar. KMac is physically capable of a lot. If he gets the right mentoring and teaching (the kind that changes his approach) then he could go farthest.

KMac has the highest ceiling but he lacks consistency and motor. He's as good as he wants to be.

Gaulden is probably the most ready besides Daniel.

Kelly will have to be in the right system. Needs to show better speed

I'd like to see Berry finally given a chance to play some offense. Maybe as a Devin Hester type. Not saying he has Hesters lateral quickness but the kid is fluid and fast. I could see him going somewhere like the Raiders or GB and being a versatile player who may never be a pro bowler but sticks in the league for 8 years or so.
