Word on the street is that Gurden doesn't even like coaching the rookies he drafts what make anyone think he wants to deal with a bunch of teenagers. He also has one of the most difficult offenses to learn in the NFL what makes you think a kid who barely qualifies to attend a public school is going to have an easy time learning it too. As much as I would love to have Gurden as our coach I believe he is a NFL coach for life.

Gruden on all of the above.

You know he would bring an allstar staff with him.

In the end I think Kiffin will be the coach and that is not a bad thing.

I'm sure Gruden would be willing to DUMB-DOWN the verbage so the kids could understand it better.

Using only the top 3 rumored coaches:
recruiting- push. Any former NFL coach is going to have clout with kids.
Player Development- Cowher. Better teacher IMO
Offense- Gruden
Defense-Kiffen. I assume he learned a lot from his dad.
Play Calling- Gruden
Intensity- tie between Gruden and Cowher
Best chance for a quick turnaround- Cowher
Best chance for long term success- Kiffen

Final score: Gruden 3, Cowher 3, Kiffen 2

Agree with superdave. I think that Cowher is the best all round choice, but I really dont think that he would come to Knoxville to coach. Can you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth from our opponents if he did?

i think Davis will be the best recruiter out of all of them. he brings 4 and 5 stars to UNC!!!! that astonishes me
