Who gets the nod if Crompton is benched?

I will also be amazed. Honestly, Crompton is the worse college QB I have ever watched.

Yes. That is why we MUST get one of the other guys reps against NIU before we play Georgis. With Crompton we have no chance to win ANY SEC games.

I think Fulmer is scared to make a change,he doesn't want to take a chance on losing to N.Illinois.Lets just hope we can score some big points on this team so Stephens can get a work out.

My guess is we'll take the UAB approach and just pound the football down their throats until NIU can't move any more around the 4th quarter. I'm pretty sure Stephens can handle a basic hand off, which is something Crompton apparently struggles with from time to time.

I hope to see someone else win the starting job. I supported Crompton at first and tried to tell everyone that it was because he lacked experience and the UCLA game was 3000 miles away and what not... but now, 4 games into the season, someone else needs to step up and move the ball more than 5 yards per drive.

If Coleman or Stephens play well against NIU, then I expect one (or both) of them to play against UGA. Unless they blow up worse than Crompton (which is hard to imagine), then I expect one of them to claim the starting job for keeps.

Hopefully, Crompton will (a) declare for the NFL draft (waste of time), or (b) claim someone else's Mormom mission.

Either way, it's a plus for UT football.

go vls.

HAHA!! GreyWolf ftw!
