Who exactly did Kiffin kick off...

...or even guys with apulse. to be fair though the old staff had commits from phillips and foster to go with revis and schofield. rightly or wrongly some of the guys who are gone would also still be there.

i'm definitely not arguing with clk's new std only pointing out that the roster wouldn't be so thin.

It was a bet to trade some short term pain for longer term gain. The pain was losing a couple of critical O linemen but was also gained speed and explosiveness. We're definately behind the eight ball this next recruiting class and the 2010 season. If this staff can load up on line talent and QB next class and can find a way to be even somewhat successful in the 2010 season, then I think we'll have a great chance to become a force 2011 and beyond. While we don't know how this is going to end up, we have a pretty good idea of Fulmer's results. I'll take the bet.

I agree VolinDawgland. That's why I changed my mind about Coach Fulmer. He had his chance. His way didn't work at UT any more.

I also agree that was Kiffin's gamble... hope it pays off this year and in '11. I think '10 could be pretty painful. I really do think UT can surprise the experts if they avoid OL injuries this fall.
