Malzahn will be interviewed, IMO........

I'm not sure we have the players to fit his style of play. My wife is from Tulsa, so we went and watched BYU and Tulsa play this year, also saw them on ESPN vs UCF in the championship game. At least 1 in 3 plays seemed to be a bomb to a wideout on a fly. I don't know who we have as a deep threat.

But as long as it isn't Crowton I will be happy.

UT has more players that can go deep than Tulsa does.

Ainge had a broken pinky and bum shoulder for most of the year. Several of the guys have the ability to get open deep... As a BYU guy, you should know from a very long history that you don't have to have to be the faster guy to get open deep. They've been doing it with pretty run of the mill speed for years.

Yeah I'd heard that Paige's only issue was upper body strength but that he ran great routes and could separate himself.

Jones has good speed. Briscoe isn't supposed to be fast but he didn't look like he had any difficulty getting 5 yards separation on that post TD vs Wisc.

IMO the style of play should not matter to much. If we have a good offensive coordinator, he should be able to coach to his talent. I hope we have better players than tulsa, and if b.j. coleman is this great athlete that everybody keeps telling me, then he should be able to run this offense. I think crompton could to. Another thing, Malzhan had mitch run his offense in hs and at arkansas so you must not have to be just amazingly mobile to run it.
