Recruiting and development results normally start to show in year 3, IMO.

If I am not mistaken several guys on that list can play a "super senior" year if they choose to. Pretty sure Keyton if not others can.

I think that everyone on that list not marked as a Junior or a RS Sr can come back for that "Covid" year.

That certainly is a lot of people, I'll assume pretty much all of the juniors will be coming back. That's going to be a tough task for the following year. That's 12-15 starters that we would be losing. Pretty much all of our linebackers will be gone, both starting safeties, our best defensive end, QB, best receiver, top 2 tight ends, at least 3 starters on the offensive line.

Going to have to go hard at the transfer portal probably. I feel pretty good about receivers and running backs going forward (WR and TE depth just need experience, but not lacking in talent). Offensive line has a lot of bodies, just need a few people to step up. QB shouldn't be an issue in theory. Defense should have talent but will be very young and inexperienced after this year.

Hope so as I was/am hopeful Vols compete for the East in the 2023 or at least, 2024 season with an elite sophomore (or Jr) QB @ the helm.
