I'm not saying you're not a true fan Nation, I wouldn't dare. No one should doubt your Vol fandom, I surely don't.
Perhaps JP is right and we just come at it differently, we value different things. I like honest debate and consistent points of view balanced with my undying love for the Vols. For example, any Vol fan is gonna tell you that Tennessee "owns" Vanderbilt, and rightly so. But, IMHO, if we're gonna define 8-3 the last 11 games vs them as "owning them", then we can't honestly turn around and say that we "own Florida" during the same time span when we're 0-11. That doesn't compute to me. Just my opinion.
I also am a huge college football fan in general who believes in giving credit where credit is due, even if I don't like the guy to whom I'm tipping my hat.....in this case Florida's football program......in other cases Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Les Miles and even Hugh Freeze for the respective jobs they've done. For me, VolNation is a place to both be a Vol fan and discuss other things college football objectively with other fans.
