Was discussing it with a buddy at work and we couldn’t remember.

Also, while we’re on the subject, who would be some solid predictions for who may take that role when we line up in it during the regular season? Anyone who may not have been on campus yet?

Yep,Pope is the one I remember also. Hopefully, him and whoever else they use at fullback can play it well enough when the season starts.

Yea Austin started there... think you see him starting this fall... also being number 2 TE... in some formations...

Going back to Dooley at LSU, Saban and his acolytes have used that multi-tool H-back attached, on the wing, split out, and in strong/weak/pro-I. I think Pope was ahead of Blakely in the Spring for the H-back so that’s why he was in there. But I think those two will get the majority of the 2TE snaps. Wood-Anderson obviously being the Y with some Wolf thrown in for a breather.

I agree. Pope and Blakely should be good in the position. Wood Anderson is a bruiser and should get alot of the tight end plays but wolf can catch pretty well and i see him getting some down field catches.
