Georgia State might not be completely irrelevant, but it certainly doesn't mean that much right now.

If they go to a bowl, Jeremy Pruitt needs to be runner up for SEC coach of the year behind Dan.

Even if we win out there's no way Pruitt deserves COTY imo. That's ridiculous. 7-5 having lost to BYU & Georgia State doesn't win COTY in any league.
I said runner up to Dan...But he would deserve that recognition for motivating this team after that disastrous start...I know, I know "he should never of lost to GA State and BYU in the first place!" but he did, and he motivated a beaten down team to finish strong, and that's worth praise.

Too many people think that college FB teams are static . Most of them develop or regress during the length of the season. I think when you look that we have played 21 or so freshmen , the offensive line did not practice together in the spring many were not on campus yet , we started the season with virtually no returning starting D-line and the limitations of JG at QB ...its really not surprising that our initial start was not good. The freshmen are starting to develop. The QB competition is paying off. I think when we build some depth across the board in the next class we are going to be a top shelf team

If they did they would be lying.

I’m very happy and proud of the Vols.

Two more wins and I’ll be really happy for the season (given how things started).

Pruitt still makes questionable decisions but I think he’s finally turned the corner.

The improvement is very noticeable.

This is a completely different team than what we saw at the beginning of the season. I’m not sure what’s transpired behind the scenes, but it’s working. I think we are finally seeing the beginnings of the rebirth of UT football.
I think what has happened behind the scenes is that some of the players (like JJ) started calling people out in the locker room. I think the coaching has been there all along with Pruitt. It tooks some players stepping up to make the final connection.

Simply put, some VFLs got tired of getting beat down and led the rest of the team along to a new attitude.

The culture has finally shifted IMHO
