I'll be honest I'm not looking at our depth chart right now, but who steps up on this team now that he is gone? Could you convert one of our LBs to play there?

I mean really he was un proven commodity here, so not sure depth is a concern other than shear numbers at the position.

Was he talented? Sure
Would that talent have transferred here? Likely, but who knows

Looking at the depth chart from the spring, there is a true Freshman and a RS Freshman that seem to be next in line with Christian Gass (RS) and Kedric Golston.
Also at LEO is the other transfer Jordan Norman.

As far as converting another LB, there's a possibility that we see Brayden Rouse (FR), TJ White (FR), Merrit (SO), and Telander (SR) all given playing time in a rotation.

I am curious if medically dismissing him, makes him eligible to join another team this season? Does anybody know?

That’s a good question. Did UT disqualify him medically? (That would mean he could go anywhere). Or, did his doctor disqualify him?
We need a big ugly walk-on!

Youngins with cerebral issues. Read his own hype? Homesick? As listed, his numbers last year were nothing to write home about. Potential was the mantra. Hope he gets his head on straight with or without futbol.

I expect the inside of our interior DL to be a much better pass rushing group than we have had in a while with Gilliam, Robinson and Hobbs. I could easily see Perlotte being a menace rushing the QB. Lots of people sleeping on Jordan Norman, too. If the DL is as improved as I hope, then our outside guys will have more freedom to rush the QB. I think we will be fine.

Who are we replacing and who is this Chaz Coleman you speak of?

He hardly played at Penn St. and I'm not even sure he got a jersey sweaty here. Seems like a drug issue based on the dancing around of the communication we have received on him. I.E. We are supporting him, he's medically DQ'ed. Good riddance to another drama queen.
