I came out of the deer woods to eat a sammich and turned the game on the radio.

We had Poole in at running back and got 2 or 3 first downs on about 5 or 6 plays, then pulled him, ran some kind of pass play (sorry I don't know what kind, I was listening to Kessling not watching it) at any rate Stevens gets sacked for a loss of 11 yards killing the drive.

What happened to the theory, "Run it down their throat till they stop the run." Now I know our line can't block for squat, and we've not had 300 rushing yards so far this season, but it appeared we had something going. Why change up and shoot ourself in the foot?

as Sanders used to say, "Well, we practice that play, and we're gonna run it!" Gave up trying to figure how and why they seem to ALWAYS RUN IT AT THE WRONG TIME.

I spent 2 days installing deerstands, but when It got so windy this afternoon, I had sense enough to get down before the tree fell with me in it.

What kills me is in the short time I listened to the game they ran 2 pass plays where the receiver caught it behind the line of scrimmage with 10 and 18 yards to go for a 1st down respectively. I know he's not kin the the Clawson's of the quarterback variety, but he's about as useless.

Just no sense of "flow" in play calling at all. I mean, after all, "just because it's working", seems to give them the itch
