*Tennessee State (was their Head Golf Coach)
*Memphis (was family friends with former football coach Rex Dockrey and loved watching Keith Lee, Andre Turner, Bobby Parks, Doom Haynes, and Baskerville Holmes play basketball)

The only two I hate are Georgia and Penn State.

I respect Bama so I can't say I hate them, and in recent years I have actually rooted for them (except against the Vols) only because they were the only thing standing between UGa and a natty.

The Bama fan base at least has a reason to be a bit arrogant, but UGa fans are the most obnoxiously arrogant fans alive, believing they were on the same level as Bama. Still pissed me off not to be able to say "1980" any more.

Hate - Bama...because I was raised in a house in the 80s and you just hate all things Bama.

Soft spot - have grown to have a soft place for Indiana since marrying a native gal and settling down. I see a lot of parallels with IU Basketball and UT Football. Also, I would love to see Tom Allen be successful and habitually knock off OSU and Michigan every year.

Staying college football focused:

Hate: Florida, UGA, Kentucky, Penn State, Ohio State
Florida, UGA, & Kentucky are obvious reasons. While being born in Tennessee and living in Tennessee now, I spent about 10 years in South Central PA and got VERY sick of the PSU and OSU fanbases.

Soft Spot: Iowa and Wisconsin (I love watching them beat PSU & OSU); Navy (grandfather served in Navy); Oregon ("we hate Kiffin too" shirts from the game with them & would rather see them win Pac12 over the California schools).

Bama, then Florida, as 1a and 1b. Then probably Georgia and Clemson (personal and also because I think Clem's Son is elite at our expense). I also hate all the teams from the Slow 10.

Always hated Oklahoma and Nebraska. Always thought their success was built on years of playing crap.

And Oklahoma has been, IMO, the biggest cheater college football has ever known.
