I think the reason why we have a hard time with close games is because we don’t have that 1 guy we rely on to take that last shot.
If you were Barnes who would it have been?
Vescovi? Bailey? Springer? .. too many options

If we need a three late in the genre, I'm going with Santi personally. Mostly because he shoots 96% from the free throw line in the clutch.

Honestly, I wanted to go with Pons today. I normally would go with Vescovi, but Pons just hit a 3 and he is a senior. I trust experience in game critical situations when their career is on the fringe if being over.

On the last possession I would've preferred Keon driving to the hoop. Either get a quick two and foul or if they collapse kick it out to Santi, Bailey, or JJJ

Victor Bailey wishes he could be it. He dropped off significantly. I was expecting more from him after sitting out all of last year!

At the end when there were 16 seconds left and TN down by 3, I would have gone against the percentages. Bailey, Springer, and Vescovi were the obvious guys to take a 3. I’d use those guys, and Pons, as decoys and live or die with Keon taking a 3. I didn’t like the idea of a quick 2 and then a foul as I think Bama would have made their FTs and been back up 3 with less time available.

No complaints though. The good guys gave it a good go at another SECT Final. Not our year.

That’s the point I’m making., why choose even between 2?

If one is chosen, he more than likely draws a double team in those situations. Having two would seem to increase you chances of that last second, game winning shot ending up going through the net.

KJ has proven to be clutch. He isn't the best of the 3 point shooters, but he is a winner. Also, he is the toughest to guard 1 on 1.

Vescovi has that little pump fake, side step 3 thats money.

Springer has that little dribble step back 3.

Both shots are pretty reliable.

I’d prefer to see shooters come off multiple screens instead of lining up around the 3 pt circle.
