for the bracket pool to open, any of you geniuses care to share the round 1 upsets that you actually picked?

I have but four...
'zags over hoosiers
'nova over UK
GTech over Runnin' Rebs
ODU over Butler

I'm bored....c'mon...share!

I expect less upsets than normal - but then again, I always say that.

Oral Roberts over Wazzou is one I'm considering
Winthrop over ND
Villanova over Kentucky (8-9 and 7-10 don't count, but okay)
ODU over Butler
Creighton over Nevada
GW over Vandy
Gonzaga over Indiana

I haven't written one word on my bracket yet - scratching the surface of research. However, those are catching my eye already.

I'm not sure I'd call Villanova over Kentucky as an upset. (As an 8/9 match up)

And I'd watch for Creighton and Arkansas to make the second round.. USC might get exposed down low, and Nevada has faded down the stretch. Nate Funk and Anthony Tolliver could take Creighton pretty far in the tournament..

I thought most were pretty easy picks. GTech over UNLV was tough because both are good teams.

I'm not sure Stanford can hang with UL in their own backyard.. I know they got Lopez back, but Louisville will pressure them into turnovers quite often. And I don't think they want to get into fast-paced free for all with Louisville.. Lexington will be infested with card fans this week.

I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure all of the ones I picked are already listed.

I thought about Davidson over Maryland, but dunno if I'll actually pull the trigger or not.

I went upset city all over the board, I've even got Marquette in the Final 4. The line between genius and stupidity in March Madness picks is a thin one and after reviewing mine I'm not sure which side of that line I'm on.
