Hate never ends
How is it hate??? He threw 4 TDs against top 50 defenses last year and 0 against top 25 teams...
Our schedule has 5 top 25 teams amd an potential 7 or 8 top 50 defenses....
On top of that je averages less then a TD passing per game..
Its fact not hate

No need to play some of the games, just send in a notice of forfeit save the AD money, shame the coaching staff doesn't have your knowledge and insight.

Some folks on here just do not accept the fact that we still have no offensive improvement.
The stargazers think we have one of the best OLs in the country, when just a couple of short years ago we DID have the worst. Apologies to Trey. Don't work that way.
Running backs are mediocre at best. They have not taken over a game against a good team. Vandy and UTC type games do not matter. WRs can't be good without a QB.
Orange googles and coach worship blind a lot from the facts.

NOT a criticism of anyone or an attempt to start another QB debate... but assuming any QB played performs at a high level within their personal style and strengths... who gets the ball as a receiver depends on who's throwing it.

At his best, JG throws certain routes and schemes better than others. Some of the receivers will run those routes and schemes better than others. At his best, Shrout will do something different and probably air it out more. That will favor some receivers over others. Maurer likes to throw quick and "on time". That definitely favors disciplined route runners.

We haven't seen enough of Bailey but he appears to be a guy who reads coverage and throws to a spot. Again, some receivers do better than others with that kind of QB.

this year? I think it'll be interesting to look back on this one at the end of the year. Those of you that had Gibbs starting and being WR1, we'll let you guess again :).

I'm going with Palmer, Keyton, Beckwith, Johnson as our top 4 followed by Jones, Hyatt, Tillman and Wideman.

It's going to be a physical year playing 10 SEC games, we are going to be ultra conservative on offense and I think the bigger, stronger physical type guys will get the majority of the snaps. I'm a big fan of Hyatt and Wideman and am curious to see how they match up with the physical corners they'll match up against. Beckwith is going to be bigger than every corner and safety he matches up with so I just don't see him struggling as much physically. I think this group of Freshmen WRs are going to be a problem for teams the next few seasons. We're going to have to be able to run the football this year and downfield blocking is going to play a big part of that, another factor I think favors the bigger players getting more minutes.

1. Palmer
2. Keyton
3. Hyatt
4. Gray
5. Johnson

As far as who has the most receiving production this season. I know Gray is a rb but i think hes gonna be a weapon outta the backfield big time.

I think both Chandler and Gray are going to be used a bunch in the passing game, we've got to get creative with those two, start getting them the ball in space. I could see them both totaling brteeen 700-1000 yrds between them.

Palmer will shine at the next level.
While here, the ball will be spread out more. He will also have a better QB to help him put up better numbers
IMO he needs to be the guy. When I hear someone like Swain talking that he’s been the best wideout from a speed/route running combo the last 2 years it makes me think that he needs to be utilized more. I know we’ll spread the ball around, but it would be nice if JG could find confidence in knowing that Palmer is going to be the go to guy.

I really hope Chaney steals a lot of concepts from Joe Brady and LSU’s ability to throw the ball to the backs out of the backfield. If anyone remembers the LSU td right before half vs Bama to Edwards-Helaire it was a thing of beauty. I want to see more stuff like that.
