I'M NOT SURE HOW TO ASK THIS BUT DO WE NEED TO BRING IN A OFFENSIVE MINDED COACH AND HOPE HE BRINGS A GOOD DC WITH HIM OR DEFENSIVE MINDED COACH AND HOPES HE BRINGS A GREAT OC WITH HIM? WHICH WAY HAS BEEN THE MOST SUCEESSFUL?

I think bringing in an offensive minded coach would help the fastest, but he would have to bring in a really good DC with him. Personally, I think Chavis is fine, but doubt that a new coach will keep him.

I know offense is our biggest problem now . So who would be a good combo.
Hc/dc? Would muschamp/ malzahn be more scary than say a leach/strong combo? Just a new question that's all.

the ailing part of this program for the last 5 or so years has been the offense....it's been the least consistent. our defense has been solid every year save 06.

i would expect, if for no other reason, than it will be viewed as different, that a guy with more dynamic offensive experience is looked at.

with the candidates out there is there any offensive coaches that have good dc with them already or will they have to go and get one?
