Which QB Enters the Transfer Portal First?

Chaney has to be frustrated. I mean he knows we dont have a competent QB on the roster that can step up and take the next step. People have bashed Chaney but I find it hard to believe that he just ll of a sudden forgot how to call good plays. I am wondering if he has ever faced a QB situation as bad as he is now?[/QUOTE
Not sure where people see Chaney as this great OC. He had a bunch of talent at GA and could not beat Bama. Not convinced he can do it here

Look back at our 2012 team with Chaney. Offense wasnt the problem. If we would have even had a serviceable defense, we win the East.

People are acting like Maurer has been passed over - he has not. He was likely intended to be primary backup this year but got injured, nobody else (HB and Shrout) had any reps and thus we have been left with JG. Why would Mauer leave tho since as soon as he can play I expect we have an opening.

There is absolutely no reason to not give your back ups reps. Very poor preparation on coaches part if bailey and strout not getting any reps with the ones.

I think Maurer has Stockholm Syndrome. Shrout has to know he is DONE after coming in and tossing an interception. Pruitt likely had suffered greatly even allowing him a chance to play and Shrout blew it. Both would go if they were smart.

That statement is totally ridiculous, 1 int. and he is through. But with this said, if I were Maurer or Shrout either one I would transfer, If what I have read is true, neither have been given an opptunity to compete for the qb job. It was handed to jg with no competition.

Weinke, Tee and Cheney hands are tied. They just do what they’re told.

If anyone who knows anything about football thinks Weinke, Tee, and Cheney thinks that they agree that jg is our best option they must be out of their mind. Playing jg is all Pruitt, who knows less about qb play than any of the other coaches such as Weinke, Tee, and Cheney. And Pruitt has made the statement concerning Bailey, he did not have time for anyone to work with him, it was all spent on jg. that should tell you why jg is still starting, and why our oc, and qb coach is not able to bring along another qb, all their time is spent on jg, and he is a hopeless case as far as qb in sec is concerned.

Hammer meet nail

Bottom line is I think it’s now obvious that we’ve been getting lied to and I no longer have to bring up my personal experience of attending practices myself. Same goes for Cheney and Weinke. Don’t let yourself be fooled into thinking THEY prefer JG.
Forgive me for intruding, but you keep throwing out these 'not so subtle hints' that you're 'in the know' with intimate knowledge of a player(s). FWIW, you might want to stop doing this before you get called out, asked for proof, attacked and crucified.

If you have already provided proof and I missed it, then I apologize.

The proof is what’s happening right in front of you now. Most people on here remember the things I’ve said dating back to the spring game last year. I’m assuming that’s why I haven’t been “called out” yet. But I’m sure you’re right.... it’ll happen. And I’ll respond accordingly.
