Funny.

Monte is the defensive HC. That opens Lane up for the O and ST oversight that is needed.

Monte = a great commodity for any HC.

I think Lane will have an easier time making the transition. He'll relate better with the young men he's coaching. It'll be interesting to see how Monty's approach will go over in the college game. I'm guessing he'll be fine.

Like you said in your article, UT's total budget for coaches salaries may appoach what Bama spent two years ago, but you make it seem wrong that UT spends more on assistant coaches instead of the head coach.

So Monte is a drawing card, is that wrong? If someone wants to improve their skills and knowledge, then doesn't that person want to learn from the best. Besides, it looks like Monte made a smart move coming to UT since Gruden got fired.

Of course getting beat, people are going to whine. CLK beat some of our biggest rivals on the recruiting staff. Of course some blogs are going to pop up with hate.

CLK has probably had to hear about his dad for a long time, i doubt this is nothing new. He seems like the man that hearing that stuff just makes him dig in deeper, and start pushing harder.
