Which GTA is the best?

Just got a PS4. Years and years ago I played an older Grand Theft Auto game on PS2 and liked it. Thinking about getting one for PS4. Which one is the best in your opinion?

GTAV and San Andreas are my favorites.


Watchdogs will be somewhat similar to GTA, I would give it at least a rental when it drops later this year.

Sit tight! There is a very strong rumor that Rockstar will be releasing a souped up next gen version of GTA V! Probably will coincide with the PC release. Also, Watch Dogs will be coming to PS4 in May and that is very much in the same spirit as GTA.

III absolutely blew my mind when it first came out; there was never anything like it before. Gotta give the nod to the one that started the 3d sandbox genre.

Vice City is the most memorable one for me, however. I probably spent this most time play it than all the others.

Agreed! Rockstar may have improved on the concept with the sequels but III is what started it all!

Many report 5 will be coming to next gen and official announcement will be at E3

Yeah I think I'm going to wait on that one instead of buying Watch Dogs! I'm just so pissed off at Ubisoft for undermining gamers like that by showing a bunch of bullshots and footage that had no prayer of becoming real in-game graphics! I don't care if Watch Dogs ends up being the greatest game ever! On principle alone I'm not supporting Ubisoft for pulling a BS stunt like that.

I honestly don't even care if it gets a graphics bump...I just wanna be able to play GTAV on a ps4. I'd happily pay $65 for it again. Maybe include the first DLC to entice people to pay for it again.
