I have already read a few great stories from posters about where they were when Jauan Jennings made the catch. I am sure that there are other great stories that have not been shared.

I was at a wedding, following on Yahoo Sports on my phone. After I saw that Georgia had gone ahead, I set my phone down on the table at the reception and just put my head in my hands. I still kept refreshing, but I was hoping that the play would be reviewed and called back, or something. I think saw a tweet that said Berry's return has given Tennessee a shot at a Hail Mary. I still did not really believe, but I kept refreshing anyway. Before I could get it refreshed enough, the lady on the other side of my wife gasped out loud. I looked up and she turned her phone around for me to see that her husband had texted her that we had won 34-31 on a Hail Mary. I was floored. I still kept refreshing my phone and holding my breath until I started seeing tweets with the final score. Then, I had to almost physically restrain myself to keep from losing my mind at the reception. I put my hand over my mouth and bit it (true story), to keep from screaming in joy. I was covertly pumping my fist and when there was a lull, I went outside and watched the replay of the play about 45 times. I love my Vols.

At a 60th anniversary party for my wife's grandparents from Georgia, where my father in law and his 4 brothers were raised. Had to wear red and black for a family photo at 3:45. Changed at halftime into my grey UT polo and baseball cap (that had just arrived in the mail as I left the house).

I was the only one of about 50 not wearing black and red.

At my nieces house with our entire family including her husband who is from Ohio and huge buckeyes fan. We were jumping up and down then silent ad the night then literally think we started an earthquake. About 15 of us I hugged my brother in law and everyone else. We never do that but didn't care. Fantastic moment.

I was following my superstition of what makes the Vols win. I have to start out at 9:00 with Gameday, keep the TV on til our game starts. Watch until we begin losing.

Then I have to go outside and do something constructive. Can't listen on radio. Just work. Wash the car, yard work, etc.

There always are outside watching parties all over the neighborhood so I hear cheering when anything good happens and I go in and can watch if we're ahead. Go back down and I have to go back to work.

The whole neighborhood erupted in cheers, horns honking, firecrakers. I run inside to find that, once again, I have positively affected the outcome of a Vols game this year. Thank you very much! :)))

I was in my man cave recliner finishing the 3rd or 4th stream of expletives after the uga score.

The next dozen or so streams had a decidedly different tone.

Hate to admit it but I was whitewater rafting on the Ocoee river. Got back to my phone by the second half saw the score and vowed to not look again until Sunday when I could get home and watch the game on the dvr. Well around 7ish I got a slew of texts like "wow" and "omg" so I did finally see the final score but knew nothing about the dobbnail boot till I saw the game Sunday and even then my blood pressure was through the roof!

A bar called Centro in Athens, GA. When uga scored their touchdown, i was surrounded by drunk georgia fans jumping around and telling me to GTFO. When UT scored the hail mary, nothing but silence. I just smiled at all of them and throw up the deuces

My story is kind of a downer. My wife and I left our 13 month old with the mother in law for the game. We drove up on Friday morning and stayed at the Holiday Inn near campus. We tailgated all day, drank, taunted Uga fans and made it to the game in section 217.

We got some food, sat down and once the team ran out, we got a phone call from the mother in law that she was in her way to the ER with our son, Peyton. He was weezing pretty bad as he developed a cold the morning we left for Athens. He's gotten a cold before and the mother in law didn't let us stay. So after hearing this, we left immediately. Walked back to the hotel, packed up and checked out. I listened the game on the road using Uga broadcasts. When the Eason TD happened, we lost all radio stations with game.

I went here on VN and asked for updates. All I saw was negativity, negativity and more negativity but the final score never popped up on the apps. And then I see a post that said "Butch owes Jennings a steak dinner" and I thought "why the hell would anyone say that after a loss?"

So I fired up one of my score apps and saw 34-31. My wife is a UGA fan and all I could do was:

My son is fine by the way. Has an ear infection and small amount of fluid in the lungs. He has a virus and is getting better. The game was secondary on our minds but it was a 6 hour(stressful) drive so why not listen to it.

I went to the mountains with my mom for the day and had planned on being back to see most of the second half of the game. Needless to say, we got stuck in traffic and I feared that I would not make it home in time to see any of the game. My husband kept texting me the score. I made it home with 2:40 to go in the game. I definitely made it home in time to see the best part of that game.

I was in Puerto Vallarta Mexico on vacation and streamed the game via SlingPlayer.

I then proceeded to have a fun time with the wife - which almost didn't happen because of that UGA bomb with 10 seconds left.

Left the living room after the Eason TD, went to the garage, got myself a stiff Jack and Coke, turned the TV on in the garage to see if a miracle would happen...heard my son (who was still in the living room) yelling wildly, then the 5 second delay from the satellite receiver caught up, and I yelled wildly too! Wife and daughter ran in to see what the commotion was about since they heard the son scream, then me...finished my Jack, called my friends in GA to gloat, then had a few more to celebrate! It was a good day!

Glad your son is ok. Thanks for sharing your story. Love the GIF :)

I was in the band hall, helping put away uniforms as I did my duty as a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi.

While I am sad that I missed such a great game, I would not have traded the experience for anything.

To give a better idea of it:
As we were putting uniforms away, a brother came in and said "Hey Alex Georgia scored a TD looks like Tennessee lost" and I was real sad. Then I checked my phone after and saw it was 34-31, with a string of text messages from my father expressing his utter disbelief.

The team at my uni won too...that was more surprising than the Hail Mary tbh.
