Where were you?

Just for a little levity as an end of a stressful situation for all UT fans. Where were you when you got the call/text that BP was officially done?

I was trapped in a piece of crap $12 per person mirror maze with my 3 sons in Gatlinsuck. My oldest was having a panic attack and the youngest was trying to figure out how we were going to cook food and go to the bathroom if we had to live there forever. Then the text came, and I said "wow, it's done, Pearl was fired". The news was a reprieve for my oldest as it took his mind off of his panic attack. My middle son told me I should be fired from maze leader. I then wondered if the best way to get out of maze might be to break every freaking mirror in it. We survived as my 8 yr old took the helm.

Is this really a thread????? Bruce was a basketball coach who screwed up and is now paying for it. It's not like he was President of the United States. Move on folks.

Stuck in traffic. Browsing radio stations and heard Gunner on WIVK say "Well, Bruce has been officially fired at UT, so hows the traffic lookin' Ed?"
And i was like wow lol

Condolences. You pretty much had a worse day than Bruce Pearl.

That's basically the point of my thread, shallow hal. It's basically insignificant in the grand scheme, but I'll remember due to my circumstances at the time. My focus was to get out of a freaking mirror maze, and I had the same focus after the news. Lighten up Francis

Believe it or not, i was in the exact same place as i was the day Elvis died and President Reagan was shot! JK, but my sense of humor is a little wierd over the last year or so. Ive somehow managed to stop crying and have just decided "what the hey", can't stay drunk 24 hours a day so might as well find fun in it all.

BTW, i love the Smokies, but hate freakin mirror mazes. I do love the pizza at Smoky Mountain Brewery in G'burg though, good stuff.
