Just wanted a little bit of feel good around here. I was at Ruby Tuesdays on Broadway for my 16th birthday and the whole family was there. Never will forget it. What a season. Just curious where others were when it went down...literally?

It was a pretty consistant drizzle IIRC. There was an Arky fan that had harrassed fans a few rows in front of me during the first half. By the fourth quarter the cops had to escort him out because everyone was ridding him pretty hard at that point. He lost his cool and was escorted out.

I thought that they changed the NCAA rule regarding fumbles caused by the graound. I just looked it up though I was wrong. For some reason though i thought they changed it so that if that happened again it wouldnt be ruled a fumble. Belay My Last

I was on the very last row at the top of the stadium. Worst seats I've ever had to one of the best games I've ever seen. Never forget that day as long as I live.

I was in Neyland.

What sucked about that game though is that the refs blew the call on the Ark punter kicking it thru the endzone. They gave us 2 points and the ball back, but we should've been given the ball where he kicked it if I remember correctly. We wouldn't have even needed a miracle if we punch in a td.

After that game though, I knew we were winning it all. You got to be lucky and good to win a title and we had both.

Living in Cali, watching on TV and listening to John Ward via the internet. Later, friends flew out, we drove over and attended the big game with all the hoopla.

Yes you def have to be good and lucky to make it through, but we had REAL kickers back then #jeffhall
