I have to be in New York during the weeks of the Florida and LSU game. Does anyone know of a Tennessee fan bar in Manhattan?

I'm not sure of a specific place, but I'm pretty sure that all you would have to do is find a sports bar. I know for fact that you can watch Tennessee games in Boston at sports bars....so why not NY?

Thanks for the reply but I meant a specific place in NY. I know I could probably go to any sportsbar but I want to watch it with a Vols heavy crowd.

I'm close enough to Manhattan and would go watch the game with other vols fans. Maybe we can get enough of a crowd up. Just let me know where!

Funny, I'll actually be up there the week before the Florida and LSU games too, but not over the weekend...

I bet there's a NY alumni chapter, get in touch with them.

Back in 1998 there was a bar just south of time square right by the Broadway Millineum hotel called the Tennessee Tavern I think - that might not be a bad place to check out - if its still there.

There are a ton of Sports Bars in NYC, but NYC isn't much of a college football town, September is still baseball season in NYC. The best thing to do is grab a paper when you get up there and check the sports section.

If don't care about atmosphere and the game is on ESPN, the ESPNZONE in Times Square is a decent place to watch a game, It’s pretty commercial, but they have the best screens to watch the game on, and you might see some sports celebrities there.
