But that is the status quo for the SEC not just UT. Title IX requirements may come into play here as far as revenue sharing
If it was honoring title IX
With big football/ men's basketball roster.
Than equal pay for Women's Soccer Softball Track Swimming Rowing would equal renewed sharing.
Women's Men's sports 50/50
Revenue SharING settlement don't require as this day .

Are you sure about that? Baseball generated $9.6M in revenue last year vs $3.9M for LVs. Baseball was 4.1% of overall revenue while LV Basketball was 1.7%. Football was 63.6% and basketball was 11.7%.
I'm not sure how they are calculating revenue. It must be for ticket sales only. My guess is that Lady Vols merchandise and TV advertisements far exceed Vols baseball. Of course, revenue doesn't equal profit. It is far more expensive to field a baseball team than a basketball team.

No way that revenue is only ticket sales. Baseball generated $1.9M in ticket sales in 2024.

Maybe the devil is in the details but I paid more attention to the statement, "UT men’s basketball generated $27.4 million in the 2024 fiscal year. Women’s basketball generated $4 million. All other sports, including baseball, combined for $16.9 million in revenue." They lump baseball in the "all other, combined" category. I remember one of the books we had in Statistics 101, was "How to Lie With Statistics." I remember a Professor saying, Figures Lie and Liars Figure (paraphrased).

Regardless of how it is framed, I would rather be at a Lady Vols game, indoors and comfortable than baking or freezing at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Many would also choose baseball over LV basketball. To each their own but I will gladly freeze or bake in LNS cheering on the BaseVols.
PS. The NCAA House Settlement does the same (lumping baseball with all other sports) for Title IX purposes. The DOJ ruled that universities can distribute revenue share as they so desire and Title IX isn’t applicable. I’m sure that will be challenged in the Courts.
