Where is the mean and nasty intimidating force on Defense

Where is the Al Wilson that intimidated people to the point where they didnt want to run his way......He didnt wherre anythign extra no wristbands to make him look good he had a too small jersey and cowboy collar...you could just look at the guy and want to go home....Wheres that at?

Not here....no Big Al's, no Raynoch's, no Leonard Little's....hell, I would settle for a Kevin Burnett but he's not here either.

al wilson was/is just an extremely special player. people like him don't come along every season. having said that, this coaching staff seems to create an environment during practice and in games that doesn't lend itself well to cultivating those types of personalities.

the coaches can only fire players up so much. the players have to make the decision for themselves to play a role like al wilson did. he is one of my all-time favorite UT players.

I would not condone cheap shots but when Donovan McNabb and Quincy Carter were running around on us in '98 they gained yardage for sure - but they were hit and hit hard on every carry....The '98 guys would give up a personal foul to send a message to the offense to keep your QB in the pocket....This team is soft as jello.
