Where is the defense???

I am curious as to where the defense went in this game and late in the CAL game? We put pressure on for a few series, then wham, they go all Houdini on us. And as for those wanting to push the young talent in sooner, just look at what Berry did. He will be great, don't get me wrong, but twice on national TV (in slow motion) they showed him making the same mistake (a basic no-no for corners) TWICE when he backpedaled to the ball instead of staying tight with the WR until the last minute. Both times the ball dropped just over his reach because he couldn't jump very high from backpedaling. I am questioning whether it is at least time for Chavis to go.
