I know that he had been previously injured but have not seen anywhere where he has been in a green jersey lately?? Does anyone know what is up with him?? Seems odd that we have a 5* sitting on the bench.

Looks like you should. Starting to wonder about this staff and how they handle/develop 5 star caliber players.

Hard to develop someone who's missed two springs, half a football season, and half of one training camp since they've been on campus.

I've got to give it to you... Your constant negative game is very strong and consistent. I believe that if we beat OH and FL you still have the will power to turn 10 straight wins negative. Fully impressed.

He's not the only one.

But he is a poor example. 5* talent who hasn't been healthy since sophomore year of high school.

Preston and Richmond are the only other 5 stars I can think of you could point to. Maybe Malone. He and Preston's main problem is most likely being a part of a unit that can't get them the ball (and injuries). Richmond plays a position where it's not abnormal to see highly rated guys struggle until they're upperclassmen. He looks like his future might be at OG (and some analysts said as much when he was coming out).

Let's just not bring this thread up again until he is fully healthy and has played a significant amount of snaps in practice. Even when he's somewhat healthy he gets in the game, the kid will be just fine once he heals up.

Yep. Damn you Butch for not being able to develop a talented player who's been injured the last two springs

Handling/Developing players is the same regardless of star status. Kyle has been inured off and on since High School. He got hurt in 2013 and rehabbed. He enrolled early and had surgery done and missed Sring practice. He played up to the Arky game where he hurt his shoulder again. He reinjured the shoulder against USCe and that finished his season. He had surgery in Nov-Dec 2015, and missed Spring practice again. Came back for fall practice and now has an ankle injury.

BLUF: He's had problems staying healthy since he got here same as D Bates. The trainers and doctors all provide around the clock treatment for the players. Not saying he hasn't been developed, but injuries will slow development.

Give it another couple of months and our "fans" will be trashing the guy for not being able to stay healthy. Just refer to the threads on Croom and North

This isn't Chess or Badmitton; it's a contact sport and people get injured. Ragging on players from behind a computer is weak. I bet most on here that are complaining about players health, be staying out of work for a back ache or hang nail.

Just coming back from injuries. . . .credited with a tackle against VT.
