Where is Hatevol and his YY6 postgame report when you need it??

I imagine he is under a rock somewhere. He made the statement that the program had been "reborn" after the WKU win. So, as you can see, he really doesn't know a whole lot after all.

I think he's talking about "reborn" in a spiritual sense. It's gonna take a few years to rebuild this proud program after the state The Fired Coach/Failmer left it in.

On a side note, are you keeping up with recruiting? It's gonna be nice to have a consensus top 5 (maybe #1) class. The future looks just fine right now.

Did anyone blame Fulmer for the UCLA loss last year?

Given that the field was covered in his recruits and he rolled into the prevent to give the game away late, it was warranted.

As a comparison, we were on the receiving end of the four turnovers last year and still lost.

I think Hat hooked up with some of the UCLA cheerleaders for a good night of jello rasslin'.

you ever heard of a TIME BOMB, they usally explode after you have gone, well Failmer left us a handful of them, and the QB position just happens the brightest one.

No doubt about that.. I think it's clear that a lot of the things we did wrong last year, and years before, could be blamed on Fulmer some way

But referring to the OP.. I don't think anyone directly blamed Fulmer for anything that happened in last year's UCLA loss, but it's not hard to see why people would do such a thing..

The board has been so cluttered the last few days, I just now noticed there was no update from hat. Maybe he is trying to hold his tongue. He knows this team should have beat UCLA.

Hold his tongue? Is this some kind of jello rasslin' maneuver? :hmm:

I think our DL is not too bad. Our OL is absolutely awful. And, I'm concerned that we aren't getting the recruits needed there now. Kiffin and Co. are getting the athletes and skilled position players, but we need some big uglys!!!

Dumb post.

Very dumb.

Do a little research.

Guess which post is accurate?

OL's don't throw 3 interceptions.

If you have a spare week or so, I encourage you to do some digging. What you'll find is that every championship team in the history of football (we'll narrow it down to post-WWII) has had an above-average offensive line. It is entirely possible for a team to have a below average quarterback. You can run an offense with no tight ends. Having a brutal backfield won't prevent you from winning, nor will having a subpar receiving corps.

If you want to win in football, it all starts up front. This is what prevented the Lions from winning when Joey Harrington was there, the Texans with David Carr, and the Browns with Tim Couch. It didn't matter who they handed off or threw to; the running game couldn't run since blocking was non-existent and they didn't have enough time to get set, check down, and make a throw.

Amen brother! Love all the skill but 3-3star OL ain't gonna cut it in the SEC. Can't throw laying on your back. And if you can't knock people off the ball it don't matter who you hand it off to. I do think however the staff is gonna be working hard to address this. It just makes me a little nervous we don't have any higher rated Ol commits yet.:search:

No, but more times than not, the top teams had more stars the last few years when you look at their recruiting rankings. There are exceptions. But, I'd take my chances with three 5*'s over three 3*'s any day. You would too if you admit it.:good!:

I'll trust the coaching staff's evaluations. Crompton was a 5*, so forgive me if I don't put a great lot of faith in the system.
