Well what do you want him to say? If he comes out in support of Pruitt, everyone will say "ohhh that's it! Thats the kiss of death! Pruitts gone!" But at the same he can't come out and say they're working to replace the staff. Its damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. HOPEFULLY what he's doing is quietly working the phones and emails to find us a better head coach. I would imagine the big money boosters are involved behind the scenes as well.

He’s still very much on board and he again laid out his vision of Tennessee football. There's nothing an AD could or should say publicly about a coach. Unless it's a congratulations statement after winning a bowl game or graduation rates or something like that, they're best not heard from when it comes to coaches.

Why would he say anything, because some fans are upset where we are right now. He is busy running ALL the sports at the university not just football so he is probably busy with getting those up and running during this pandemic. Yes our program isn't where it should be this year but calm down. "The dreaded vote of confidence is just AD speak for I'm not saying anything about firing him just yet and Fulmer knows that one bad season shouldn't be cause for fire. Yes we have under performed and there were bad losses last year but given the state the program was in when Pruitt was hired we have to have stability at the coaching spot. 2020 is a weird year man.
