Over the past few weeks, I have grown sick of all the posters on this site calling for Crompton's head and wanting him replaced with Stephens. All along, I have been saying that there is a reason Stephens is #2.

So far as I know, none of us on this site is a coach although many of us post like we are.

We paid Kiffin alot of money to come to UT and should respect his choices in the line up. We can see from yesterday's game that he has made the correct choice.

Go Vols!

I am proud of Jonathon and i guess my prayers for him worked. I will be doing my part again for 2 more weeks. JC needed that one.

Great job Jonathon...From the guy who said earlier this year that you were the worse quarterback I had ever seen!

Jon had a great game, but let's see him do it two games in a row before rubbing it in.

Hey I supported the guy all last year and this year until last week....but I admit I bad-mouthed him a lot over the week....so yeah....I'll eat my crow. I hope he makes me eat crow for the rest of the season. That would make me super happy.

Um, how are JC critics supposed to know when (if) he's going to show up to play? I'm not a JC fan, but I've never called for NS to start. I figure if NS could start, CLK would put him in.

Don't think for ONE minute that his career day against UGA is going to take the heat off. The exact opposite will happen now. Now we'll expect that he comes prepared to play and play well.

If he goes out and embarrasses us against Bama... all hell will break loose. Just saying...

I disagree wholeheartedly. Crompton could physically be an NFL QB. It's all mental with him. It is a complete crapshoot week to week with him. Everyone should know this now and not be surprised at all if he reverts back to the UCLA game. No one should EXPECT him to play well. It's a coin flip.

Hopefully the coaches have Jon on track now!:D
I think Matt Foley came to talk to him. :)

Talking about beating a dead horse. Alot of the ones who was calling for NS admitted thier wrong, including me. It seems no one will let it go, we can't even enjoy a great SEC win. Dang, I think it's time for everyone to let it go.

If this is indeed a turnaround for Jonathan, then it's the best "coaching-up" job ever! I've been a critic, too....but the taste of crow is only equalled by the sweet savor of bulldog stew!

Are you sure you were saying that? Are you sure it wasn't....nothing?

Was one game... I will always support him to do well but it doesn't mean I have to like him. Was a nice game but seeing as Garcia on South Carlina did the same thing to UGA's defense, I would be a fool to drink the Crompton juice. You go ahead and drink it. I will be glad to watch you face down on the floor if the juice was tainted. Better you than me. :)
