FSU has the #1 coachin staff in the nation (which is why they will have a top 3 recruiting class)

Miami (FL) has a good head coach in Randy Shannon. They really need to work on their facilities at the U.

here's my take:

FSU has an INCREDIBLE staff... definitely the best in the nation -- no debating it.


i love the UT staff... it's an allstar cast: chavis has always been known to have a tough-as-nails D, and cutt is a mastermind. but, i wonder about our talent development.... it's been discussed many times on here before, but i feel as if UT has a hard time developing the elite recruits that we pull. regardless, i think that this staff is one of the better staffs in the nation. (im avoiding the CPF pitfall... it can only go downhill once he's evaluated)

A coaching staff has to work well together. It's impossible to rate UAT, Miami, or FSU at this point. Sure, they have good components, but so do the Yankees. It doesn't work too well for the pinstripers.

I already did it, and I won't rank Taylor because ranking position coaches is silly. He has to be one of the best in the conference.

not discounting this, but after seeing the Chuck Amato experiment play itself out in Raleigh the past few years, i have to excuse any list that he is on.......chucky cheese ran home to daddy when he finally found out he couldn't cut it in the big chair.

I agree . . . It's bad enough watching people rank coordinators much less something as nuanced as position coaching.
